Brick limewash
Change the color of your brick without covering it up.
Daltonn and his crew limewash bare brick with Romabio Classico Limewash. It gets sprayed on, then washed back with a hose so some of the original brick still shows through. You end up with a soft, flat finish instead of a solid coat of paint.

When this service helps
Romabio limewash for bare, unpainted brick. Sprayed on, then washed back so some of the original brick still shows through.
Limewash makes sense when the brick is in good shape but you’re tired of the color. It’s made for bare brick that hasn’t been painted or sealed, because the brick has to soak it in. If your brick has already been painted, limewash isn’t the right product, and Daltonn will tell you that up front.
Romabio makes Classico Limewash for bare, absorbent brick, stone, and masonry, and it can go on by brush or sprayer. Before any spraying, the windows, doors, trim, fixtures, and nearby plants get covered. Romabio’s directions call for dampening the brick first. Washing it back happens while the limewash is still fresh, and that’s what lets some of the brick show through. Daltonn checks the sample on your brick with you first so you know what you’re getting.
Who you deal with: Daltonn. He looks at the job, puts the scope in writing, works the project, tells you about any changes, and walks the finished work with you. If another project comes up later, you already have someone to call.

No. Romabio makes Classico Limewash for bare, unpainted brick, stone, and masonry that can soak it in. It isn’t made for painted brick, siding, or trim. If your brick has been painted or sealed, send photos and Daltonn will tell you what makes sense.
Why is limewash washed back?+
Washing some of it back lets part of the original brick show through, so it looks soft and aged instead of solid. Romabio’s limewash can be washed off right after it goes on, so how much brick shows is up to you.
